I sent feedback through the website www.irishgenealogy.ie to ask how one would access an original copy of a record using the volume and page number provided on their website www.irishgenealogy.ie

This was their reply on the 5th January 2010:

All records available to view on this site were taken from the original
Church records that were normally retained in local custody by the Parish
Church. The National Library of Ireland on Kildare St. Dublin 2 has
microfilm copies of most of the Roman Catholic Church Records up until
c.1880. The Church of Ireland Records that have survived are mainly held
by the Representative Church Body Library Braemor Park, Churchtown, Dublin
14 or in some instances may still be retained in local custody.
